![]() ![]() Cassian, Azriel, Moz, Rhys, and Feyre have all been dynamic, interesting, strong, and humorous characters throughout the series. I’ve always thought that the main strength of this series isn’t the plots or world-building- both of which are good, though- but the characters. It’s very, very relatable, but also hilarious. Nesta has to start with the very basics of physical training- breathing and balance- and she’s always sore from her exercises. There are several moments where the characters are joking with each other, or throwing around verbal jabs that will make you smile. ![]() ![]() ![]() What A Court of Silver Flames gets right: It’s funny. Throughout the training, Nesta begins to heal from the trauma and pain that she has endured. Nesta begins training with Cassian, a general who has always annoyed her, as she and her Court prepare for the potential of another war. A Court of Silver Flames follows Nesta, a stubborn, bitter human-turned Fae who was originally more of a side character in the first several books. In this fantasy series, Fae and humans begin to collide in a land filled with Courts, each one with its own special culture.
